The three-day festival provided an ideal venue in which consular and diplomatic agencies throughout Ho Chi Minh City could come together and introduce the respective cultural characteristics of their countries to both Vietnamese people and international friends.
In addition, local and foreign visitors could enjoy the opportunity of experiencing authentic cultures of a variety of countries from across the globe through booths that showcased a range of images, costumes, and traditional products of each participating nation.
The event also contributed to strengthening connectivity between local residents and international friends who are living, studying, and working within Ho Chi Minh City, whilst simultaneously serving as a bridge to boost cultural exchanges and tighten friendship among different nations.
The occasion also offered an opportunity for international friends to gain further insights into Vietnamese culture, its land, and people.
Indonesian Consul General in HCM City Hanif Salim emphasised that the festival provided international friends with interesting experience due to the unique art performances on show, therefore helping foreign visitors learn more about both Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam.
