VOV.VN - Conductor Olivier Ochanine and solo guitarists Mauricio Diaz and Hang Nguyen will join the Sun Symphony Orchestra in a special concert to mark the 208th anniversary of Mexico’s Independence Day at Hanoi Opera House on the evening of September 14.
The concert is co-organized by the Department of Performing Arts, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Mexican Embassy in Vietnam.
Mexican guitarist Mauricio lives in France and is a lecturer of classical guitar at the Conservatory of Fine Arts of Choisy-le-Roi. He has performed in Russia, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, France, Mexico and Austria as well as in big international festivals.
Guitarist Hang Nguyen has won prizes at many international competitions and given many performances and lecture tours across Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America.
Olivier Ochanine is a French conductor and flutist. He successfully surpassed nearly 120 conductors from 23 countries in the world to secure the first prize at the Antal Dorati International Conducting Competition in Hungary in 2015.
He was also the winner of the prestigious The American Prize and the 2nd prize winner in the London Classical Soloists International Conducting Competition in 2015.
