Ho Chi Minh City posted export revenue of more than US$3.38 billion in May, an increase of 10% against April, the city’s Customs Department has said.

Exports have therefore brought in more than US$16.96 billion this year, a year-on-year rise of 6.3%. Export value excluding crude oil was US$16.26 billion, up 8.8% year-on-year.
China remained the city’s largest export market in the first five months, purchasing more than US$3.97 billion worth of goods, up 38.5% year-on-year.
Following was the US, with US$2.54 billion, up 1.4%.
The US, however, was Vietnam’s largest export market in the period, with revenue of US$24.6 billion, an increase of 8.2% year-on-year.
