VOV.VN - Four hotels and resorts in the southern city of Vung Tau have been registered as concentrated isolation zones as part of a range of efforts to prevent the further spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), according to Trinh Hang, Director of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Tourism Department on March 20.

Containing a total of 300 rooms, the group of hotels and resorts are made up of Minh Dam hotel in Dat Do district, the Long Hai Beach Resort in Long Dien district, along with the Galaxy 2 and the Kieu Anh hotel, both of which are located in Vung Tau city.
All of them are popular accommodation facilities which have previously received high praise within the global travel industry.
Hang stated that her department has been coordinating with the provincial Department of Health to instruct each of the facilities on how best to prepare the necessary conditions in order to isolate guests in line with guidelines set out by the Ministry of Health.
In addition, the department has also mobilised tourism associations and lodgings throughout the region in a bid to register more places as isolation zones to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic.
