The rise in Nam’s ranking can be attributed to his recent impressive performance at the ATP Challenger Chennai Open in India. Nam made it to the second round of the men’s single event which added three points to his ranking score, giving him a total of 28.
Nam is the only Vietnamese representative to ever be listed among the rankings since the new ATP Rankings began.
In preparation for competitions in the year ahead, Nam will return to Spain where he will train under the guidance of his coach Nahum.
