Following this, the home fixture against Malaysia is expected to get underway on November 12.
Furthermore, the Vietnamese team will then play the UAE in their final away match of the second qualifying round on November 17.
Information regarding the fixtures was released by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) during a recent meeting to discuss rescheduling all matches taking place later in the year due to impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
At present, Vietnam are leading Group G with 11 points from five matches, followed by Malaysia on nine points, Thailand on eight points, and the UAE on six points with a game in hand.
In terms of domestic football, the managing board of all professional football competitions nationwide decided to postpone both the V.League 1 and V.League 2 due to the renewed threat of the COVID-19.
Moreover, the Vietnamese national team is scheduled to join up with the national U22 side from August 15-21 in Hanoi.
