VOV.VN - Airlines have announced cancellation of all flights to/from Da Nang city in central Vietnam over two weeks to present the spread of the COVID-19 disease.

Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air and Bamboo Airways were among airlines that implemented the policy under instructions of the Ministry of Transport.
For passengers who have purchased tickets on flights to/from Danang from July 28 to August 31, Vietnam Airlines allowed them to change flight dates free of charge once till October 30.
Vietjet Air also applied the similar policy for those who have purchased tickets to/from Da Nang before August 11. Customers can be refunded over 90 days if they cancel the flight. The police does not apply to non-refundable tickets.
The Ministry of Transport on July 27 decided to suspend all flight to/from Da Nang as of July 28 to implement the social distancing order after a coronavirus outbreak occurred in the central city.
Cross-country trains, buses and boats are not permitted to stop in Da Nang to drop off or pick up passengers.
The ministry said it is considering plans to transport hordes of travelers left stranded in the city in the coming days.
