The representative noted that the airline has been actively working alongside  authorities and other related units in order to strictly monitor the situation and supervise the health of passengers, whilst putting measures in place to promptly detect and deal with any travelers who display signs of infection in the airport or during the flight.

Following a number of regulations and recommendations issued by the Ministry of Health to control acute respiratory infections caused by the new strain of coronavirus, the airline has moved to strictly implement them on existing flights in order to ensure the safety of the passengers, crew, ground operators, and the wider community.

As a result, the airline has put a Boeing 787-9 aircraft into operation on flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Taipei in Taiwan (China).
